Gay Halloween Details
Halloween is one of the three premiere gay events in New Orleans, attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year. No one throws a better party than New Orleans, and add costumes, it gets even better. This is our favorite New Orleans Holiday.The long weekend kicks off each year with a benefit for Lazarus House, a residential facility for people living with AIDS. Following the benefit is 4 days of celebration.
Guest House reservations should be made by late summer, although you can sometimes find some great last minute deals. We suggest spending time between the streets, the other bars and one big club. Most of the interesting action is on the walk between the 'St. Anne bars' and the 'Bourbon Street bars'.
After this weekend, you'll see why we like this one the best. The boys leave the attitude at home, and everyone is extra friendly.
